PLANS for a flagship, £1.2m equestrian centre for disabled people look set to get the go-ahead next week.
Councillors are expected to grant their own authority planning permission to develop the Pegasus Centre for Excellence in Disabled Riding at the woodland hamlet of Tranwell near Morpeth.
It will offer therapy and riding experiences for up to 200 children and adults with disabilities every year, and aims to become a nationally-recognised centre of excellence .
