A TV star has joined forces with a Northumberland firm to help out businesses in the county.

Claire Young, star of the hit BBC television series The Apprentice, has got together with Morpeth-based company Insp!re People Development, after the two happened to meet at a graduate recruitment event.

The company specialises in training and helping young graduates and fledgling businesses cope with the difficult economic conditions and the current competitive jobs market.

Claire, who now runs a successful events company in addition to her media and consultancy work, said: "I am delighted to be joining forces with Insp!re.

"I am passionate about business and working with individuals to realise their full potential."

Insp!re's Graham Cook said: "Claire is a very accomplished and motivational speaker who is passionate about helping young people and businesses.

"We will be joining forces to deliver practical workshops and individual support packages to help people and companies maximise their chances of success in today's challenging recruitment market."

We'd like to hear from you.
