The Chief Executive behind a new online service designed to support older people and people with a disability in Northumberland to find their ideal support worker is urging those searching for work to sign up.

The DAWN Assist website aims to match those looking for the services of a support worker with the candidate most suited to their individual needs and interests using a secure online register.

Join award-winning landscape photographer David Taylor for a day's exploration of Wallington through the camera lens. This workshop will focus on macro and flower photography, and take full advantage of the walled garden, conservatory and woodland. This friendly and supportive workshop is open to enthusiastic photographers of all abilities, and will encourage them to make progress with their photography both technically and creatively. Although a macro lens will be useful, it is not essential: one of the aims of the day will be to enable participants to get the most out of their own camera equipment, and David will have a limited supply of spare equipment for participants to borrow.

£75 including refreshments and lunch.
